At Thistle Bee Co., we're dedicated to providing high-quality honey, bees, woodenware, and more to our valued customers. Please review our policies below to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience.


1. Order Processing

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your order is processed and shipped.
  • Shipping: We offer standard and expedited shipping options. We also offer local delivery within a 50 mile radius of the Ann Arbor area. Delivery times vary based on your location and chosen shipping method. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more details.

2. Quality Assurance

  • Queen Bees: We take great care in selecting and shipping our queen bees to ensure they are healthy and of the highest quality. Upon receiving your queen bees, please inspect them immediately and follow any care instructions provided.
  • Honey: Our honey is processed and packaged in compliance with industry standards. It is tested for quality to ensure it meets our high standards before being shipped.

3. Returns & Exchanges

  • Queen Bees: Due to the delicate nature of queen bees and their role in beekeeping, we do not accept returns or exchanges. If there is an issue with your queen bees upon arrival (e.g., damage or death), please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with detailed information and photos. We will assess the situation and provide a resolution based on our assessment and available options.
  • Honey: If you are not satisfied with your honey purchase, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at info@thistlebeeco.com with your order number and reason for the dissatisfaction. We will then contact you directly to issue a refund or exchange based on your preference.

4. Cancellations

  • Order Cancellations: You may cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it. After this period, we cannot guarantee cancellation due to the speed of our processing system. Please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order.
